SCHOOL VISITS | TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Visit Overview 

1.1 School visits cost £7.50 per child for up to 30 children from any booking made after 1st  October 2025. 

1.2 There is no charge for adult supervision. 

1.3 The visit includes a 1-hour 30-minute educational session with a pizzaiolo, learning about ingredients and making a classic size pizza with toppings, which can be taken away at the end of the session. 

1.4 The session also covers important cooking basics and is suitable for all children of Key Stage 1 ability. 

2. How to Book 

2.1 Please book via the school visits page: https://www.pizzaexpress.com/book 

2.2 On confirmation of your booking, you will receive an email with a booking reference number, which will be on your invoice.

3. Payment Terms and Deposits 

3.1 PizzaExpress operates a pay-via-invoice system for all school visits booked after 1st October 2025. 

3.2 Invoices will be sent to your email address given at time of booking within 14 days after the visit. 

3.3 Full payment will be due within 7 days of the invoice date. 

3.4 There is no service charge for school visits or deposit to secure a booking. 

4. Number Policy 

4.1 PizzaExpress requires a minimum of 10 children and a maximum of 30 for any school visit. 

4.2 You must email the General Manager with the names of every child at least 24 hours before the visit. These names are needed for their junior Pizzaiolo certificates. 

5. Cancellations Policy 

5.1 You must confirm exact visit numbers 7 days before the visit by emailing the restaurant. The address is found in your booking confirmation. This confirmed number will be invoiced even if fewer children attend. 

5.2 Cancellations can only be actioned online more than 7 days before a visit. Please click on the link found in your booking confirmation email.

6. Adult Supervision 

6.1 An appropriate level of adult supervision must be present at all school visits. The required child-to-adult ratios are: 

Age Group Ratio (Adult : Children) 
Reception (4–5) 1 : 4 
Years 1–3 (6–7) 1 : 6 
Years 4–6 (8–11) 1 : 10 

6.2 PizzaExpress reserves the right (at the Manager on Duty’s sole discretion) not to proceed with a visit if the required child-to-adult ratios are not met. 

7. General Terms and Conditions 

7.1 Special dietary requirements and other pertinent information should be advised at the time of booking or by emailing the General Manager at least 7 days before the visit. PizzaExpress will endeavour to accommodate any requirements that have been communicated. 

7.2 Personal possessions left in the restaurant are at your own risk. PizzaExpress accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or personal injury unless directly caused by negligence of PizzaExpress. 

7.3 PizzaExpress Partners’ offers, PizzaExpress national promotions or PizzaExpress Club app offers, or rewards cannot be used.
