This year we know it's been the little things that count the most. So when most of the country fell into lock down again this autumn, we wanted to celebrate those little acts of kindness across the country that have made our lives brighter through 2020.

You nominated in your thousands, and our panel of judges then chose 12 deserving winners to win a whopping £1000 each, as a little thank you!

But we didn’t stop there...see how we surprised some of our unsuspecting nominees with their prize, and a little more - plus read all about their stories and why they were nominated by their communities.

Naomi - Berkhamsted

She thought she was just heading out for lunch, little did she know we'd been planning this surprise for a while! See what happened when Sandra nominated Naomi for #ShareASmile2020 – for being the type of person that just doesn’t stop helping others.
