Steps to a great school visit

Thank you for considering a School Visit to PizzaExpress. We’d love to have you join us.

Here are some things to consider:

Before Your Visit

  • Book your School Visit as soon as you can – dates are very popular and availability is limited. Please note that we can only offer a School Visit to one year group per school each year. Visits are booked on a first come, first served basis with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 30 children per visit. Please also note that restaurants can usually only offer a maximum of one school visit each month.
  • One week before your School Visit, you will receive an email outlining your visit. If any details are wrong, please let us know by responding to the email.
  • Safety is of the utmost importance to us at PizzaExpress. To ensure everyone has a great time, please read the risk assessment and tell the restaurant manager of any special requirements upon arrival at the restaurant.
  • 24 hours before your visit, please provide the names of the students in your class via email. This is to ensure we prepare the correct number of Junior Pizzaiolo Certificates, which they will receive at the end of their visit.

While You’re With Us

  • Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, it will impact the amount of time the students have to create their pizza.
  • Throughout your visit, the restaurant manager will look to you and your colleagues to make sure your students are behaving well. Please note this is a working restaurant and we need to ensure everyone follows all instructions.
  • We’d love for you to get involved during the visit too – encouraging students while they are making their pizzas is always welcome!
  • Want to take a pizza home with you too? Just ask the restaurant manager when you arrive and they’ll make a Margherita for you.

After Your Visit

  • Once you’re back at school and everyone has enjoyed their pizza, we’d love to hear any feedback on your School Visit.
