In 1948 Peter Boizot, our founder, visited Italy where he saw pizzas being tossed for the first time. Peter would love to take his friends to watch his favourite pizzaiolo, Benito, in his striped shirt, throwing his pizzas high into the air. Stripes remind us of our origins, which continue to inspire us everyday. And of course, they look good too.
