We're delighted to be opening a stunning new restaurant in Glossop, bringing a refreshing mixture of classic design with a modern twist to the town. The new opening, located in the Howard Town Retail Park, will bring 25 additional jobs to the community.
The 2,800 sq ft restaurant, which draws heavy inspiration from the town’s rich cotton milling industry in its design, boasts a beautiful new bar and open kitchen area, leather banquette and booth seating throughout. Feature wall tiles have been used to reflect a weave pattern, and this is also mirrored in the interlocking dark and light timber flooring to the main restaurant flooring; which has been introduced to create a cog like effect.
Built in a converted wool mill from the 1700’s, the restaurant is packed with features which nod to the fascinating history of both the building, and to the town as a whole. For example, feature light fittings across the space have been designed to reflect cotton reels and bobbins which would have been used in the mills. Original features from the building also remain; including the stunning arched brick ceiling to the front, which is complemented by a mode modern white wash timber ceiling to the rear.
In the area? Come say hello! We open at 11.30am on Friday 11th November.
Old favourites and more return on our Autumn menu.
