Creating a safe and enjoyable space for our customers and teams has always been our absolute priority.
We’ve adapted quickly over the last year to ensure our pizzerias remain a safe and welcoming place for our customers to enjoy a meal and for our teams to work. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE for helping us achieve this through their collective behaviours and respect for each other. We literally couldn’t have done it without you.
We want to continue to achieve the right balance of safety and comfort in our pizzerias after 19 July. So we’ll be highly recommending that our teams continue to wear face coverings when interacting with customers and will be asking customers at the door if they want to be served by a team member wearing one.
As before, customers will not be asked to wear face coverings while seated, and will no longer be required to wear one while moving around. However, we will continue to recommend that customers socially distance in areas where they share space with other households, for example our bathrooms and stairwells.
Our teams will continue to maintain social distancing at all times, and our strict cleaning regimes will all remain in place. This includes regular cleaning in each restaurant every 2 hours, and each team member washing their hands every 20 minutes (more regularly if handling food). Hand sanitiser stations will all remain in place. We will also continue to keep windows and doors open as much as possible to aid ventilation.
We’re hugely exciting about welcoming larger groups of customers back to our restaurants. As always, we’ll continue to review our processes to reflect any feedback from our customers and teams, and will be following all national government guidance and regulations.
