Covid-19 information

A message from our Managing Director

Dear Friends and Family of PizzaExpress,

Thanks for stopping by. It’s nice to know you’re still thinking of us during this time.

In line with government advice, as of 23rd March 2020, all our pizzerias still remain temporarily closed including our Deliveroo, Click & Collect and Takeaway service.

Whilst our doors remain shut, we continue to focus on doing all we can to look after our teams, our employees and our local communities.

To ensure we can still be a part of your dining occasions at home, we have committed to increasing production of our retail range and we’d like to thank the hardworking teams in supermarkets who help to get our pizza and Dough Balls on the shelves every day during these uncertain times.

We have always prided ourselves on being a sociable pizzeria, feeding conversations one Dough Ball at a time, which is why we have created virtual ways to bring people together and enjoy a slice with us. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook or sign up to our newsletter to find out what we’re up to each week to help make life at home a little more enjoyable. Discover our secret dough recipe (that you can make at home) along with other recipes in our Homemade Favourites feature on our website here, enjoy motivational music playlists with our friends at Apple Music and explore Piccolo Corner, a little place to keep the little ones entertained here.

Finally, we’d like to say how proud we are of our wonderful team and loyal customers who have reacted to these challenging times with such resilience. We’ll continue to do all we can to support our customers, teams and communities until our doors open again.

We’ll get through this. Together.

Yours sincerely,

Zoe Bowley
Managing Director, PizzaExpress
