Ensuring safety and wellbeing for you and our teams.

A message from our Managing Director, Zoe Bowley

To friends of PizzaExpress

We’re coming back!

I am delighted to announce the gradual reopening of our restaurants for Dine in, starting from Thursday 9th July.

Following the latest Government advice, we are ready to safely open our doors again in selected restaurants and reunite our customers with their favourites.

Serving pizza is our passion, but keeping our teams and customers safe is our priority. That’s why we will be making some important changes to our dine in experience to comply with physical distancing and make sure you feel comfortable when in our restaurants. This includes a new digital menu which you’ll access on your phone, cashless payments at table and a slightly reduced menu. Although our service may look and feel a little different to before, we promise not to compromise on the same great tasting pizza you’ve come to love.

We’ll gradually be opening our restaurants over the coming weeks so make sure you keep an eye out on our website, social feeds or sign up to our newsletter so you can be the first to know when your local pizzeria will be opening in your area.

We can’t wait to have you back at our place again and celebrate good times... at a distance!

We're excited to now be able to provide you with your favourite slice via Deliveroo, Click & Collect, and dine-in. Because we believe PizzaExpress is still a staple of everyday life, a slice of comfort amongst the chaos, to bring people together (even if a little further apart than before).

In order to do this, we have brought in a number of new measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of you and our teams.

Key measures we're putting in place:

1. Team health is checked regularly and cleanliness standards and hand-washing has been ramped up.

2. We've adapted our delivery, Click & Collect and dine-in service journey to keep you and our team members safe.

3. We are now cashless for delivery, Click & Collect and dine-in with the introduction of an online payment process.

4. We have introduced a digital menu and online payment process for dine-in.

5. Social distancing is in place for both our customers and team.

6. We have been closely following Government advice and are ensuring the most up to date scientific advice has been considered.

We are now open in selected pizzerias. We may feel a little different than before, but we promised not to compromise on the PizzaExpress experience you know and love.

It’s important to us that we can still serve you the same great taste of your favourites, cooked with passion. So we have limited our menu, which may feel a little different to before. But this is to reduce pressure on our kitchens, and ensure the same standards and quality of the PizzaExpress you know and love.
