Does PizzaExpress provide Children's parties?
We do offer pizza making parties although we should mention that not all of our restaurants can offer these parties and those that do usually carry day and time restrictions - this is purely so we respect all of our customers and therefore try and offer parties during quieter times in the restaurants!
The price for the parties is £9.95 each child and includes a classic Margherita pizza with two extra toppings, a children's piccolo side salad, a dessert and a soft cordial drink. Parties should be booked directly with the manager of your chosen restaurant, who should be able to reconfirm the above and answer any questions you may have. Get details of your nearest restaurant.

The attached information gives full information on all our dishes.

Our pizza bases are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans If you need any further help or advice please mail qs@pizzaexpress.com or download our allergen/suitability information.

-

To the best of our knowledge - and according to the guidance of our suppliers - PizzaExpress does not use any GM products on our menu.
-
Does PizzaExpress pay minimum wage in full?
Absolutely. We are committed to paying minimum wage in full and outright which means not using tips to top up waiters and waitresses wages to meet the minimum wage.
-
Do your waiting staff receive their tips?
All cash tips go straight to your waiter. For credit card and service charge tips, a small charge of 8% is deducted to cover the costs of getting these taxed and paid to each individual. PizzaExpress does not profit from this charge.
-
What is the 8% administration charge?
PizzaExpress and our waiters are legally obliged to ensure all credit card tips and service charges are taxed. To get this done we use a tronc system. The 8% is a standard administration charge to cover the costs of running the tronc system.
-
Why did you introduce a tronc?
It's the most widely used method in the industry to ensure both employees and employers meet their legal obligations to make sure credit card tips and service charges are taxed. If you'd like more information about tronc systems please contact the British Hospitality Association on 020 7404 7744.

Are you supporting the Department of Health's Responsibility Deal?
We are partner of the Department of Health's Responsibility Deal. The Responsibility Deal is based on voluntary codes of practice that organisations, from retail to NGO, will take to help the public live healthier lives and as a partner, we'll continue to work hard to make our menu as healthy as possible without compromising on taste.
-
How are you supporting the Department of Health's Responsibility Deal?
We're supporting the Responsibility Deal is by providing real choice for those who want a healthier option. We do this in two ways:
- In April 2009, we introduced a new range of lighter pizzas called Leggera across all our restaurants. Leggera is an entirely new kind of pizza - around 500 calories and less than 5g saturated fat. We've also introduced lighter options for starters, desserts and wine. Find out more.
- Because our pizzas and salads are hand made every time, our customers have the option to tailor their dishes to suit their needs. If you want to reduce your calorie intake, you can ask for your pizza to be made with less mozzarella or without ingredients that are naturally higher in fats and calories, such as pepperoni.
-
Will you be introducing calories on your menu?
We believe that if a customer wants calorie information, they should have it. You can find calorie information for our menu here. Later this year we're introducing a calorie crib sheet, which will be available on request in each of our restaurants.
