PizzaExpress ‘#PizzaExpressMoments’ Terms and Conditions - UK

Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions, and agreed to be bound by them, when entering this Competition.

    Who may Enter

  1. This Competition (#PizzaExpressMoments) is open to residents of United Kingdom aged 18 or over. You’ll need an Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat or Facebook account to take part.

  2. Employees (or family members of employees) of any group company of the Promoter, companies associated with the Competition and all affiliates of such companies may not enter this Competition.

  3. How to Enter

  4. To take part in this Competition, simply take a photo or upload a photo of a memorable moment you’ve experienced in a PizzaExpress restaurant when requested by PizzaExpress on one of its social media channels: @pizzaexpress on Twitter; fb.com/pizzaexpress on Facebook; pizzaexpressuk on Snapchat; @pizzaexpress_uk on Instagram.

  5. The photo must be uploaded to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag ‘#PizzaExpressMoments’ or sent to us as a Snap on Snapchat with the text ‘#PizzaExpressMoments’ written on your snap dependent on the platform PizzaExpress use to run the competition on any given day. Your photo must not feature any third party copyright works (e.g. logos, brand names, artwork, etc). Your photo must comply with the Instagram Terms of Use, Twitter Terms of Service and Facebook Terms of Service (as appropriate).

  6. Your entry must not include people for whom you do not have the permission to take a picture for your Competition entry. Where your picture includes people under the age of 18 years, you must have the permission of their parent or guardian to do so.

  7. Competition Dates

  8. The Competition is open from September 1st 2015 until September 30th 2015 inclusive.

  9. In the first instance, winners will be notified via the social media platform through which they entered the Competition. Subsequently, the Promoter will ask the winner to contact them at an address that will be provided to them by the Promoter.

  10. By entering the Competition, entrants agree that the Promoter has exclusive and unreserved rights to use their entries in any publicity materials subsequent to the Competition. Furthermore, by entering the Competition, all entrants agree that the Promoter has exclusive and unreserved rights to use their entries in any promotional activity during the running of the Competition.

  11. Prize Details

  12. The prizes available are:

    1. one prize dinner, travel and accommodation at The House of Peroni for 4 adult guests, which includes:

      1. return travel costs to London for all 4 adult guests;

      2. one nights’ accommodation at a 4 star London hotel with 2 adults sharing a twin or double room each;

    5. Pizza for a year worth £1,000 for 23 separate winners which will be provided as a gift card. All monies on the card must be used by the expiry date which is 24 months from the date the card was activated, or the date it was last spent. Any balance left on the card after 24 months of not being used will be deducted. Pizza for one year has been valued on the basis of eating one PizzaExpress pizza or main per week.

  13. The determination and decision of the Judges and Promoter on all matters shall be final and binding and no Competition correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right in its reasonable discretion: (a) to disqualify any participant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the Competition and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct; (b) to declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the Competition materially affecting the result of the Competition or the number of claimants or the value of claims; (c) to add to or to waive any rules on reasonable notice; and/or (d) to cancel the Competition or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.

  14. Prizes must be accepted as granted. No substitutions or cash equivalent payment will be allowed, and no refund or transfer unless the Promoter agrees otherwise in writing.

  15. If a winner is not able, for any reason, to accept a prize, or cannot be contacted by the Promoter within seven (7) days of the first attempt to notify them, the Promoter then reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant. Failure to claim a prize by the time or in the manner specified will make the claim invalid. Prizes are subject to their own terms and conditions for which the Promoter will not be liable for.

  16. The winners agrees to allow the Promoter to use their name and submitted entries for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration during and after this Competition.

  17. Personal information about entrants will only be shared with the Promoter’s competition partners and with the Promoter’s agents to the extent necessary to manage such entry and participation as an entrant or, where required, to a legal or regulatory body.   18. No responsibility is accepted for entries damaged, lost or mislaid and proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery. No applications will be accepted by agents, in bulk or from third parties.

  19. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

  20. The Promoter claims full and unreserved copyright to all Competition entries without exception.

  21. The Promoter will not be responsible for (and will have no liability in connection with) the following occurrences, to the extent that they occur for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control:

    1. any postponement or cancellation of the Competition;

    2. any changes to prize or the way in which it can be used;

    3. any problems with the dispatch of the prize (such as prize failing to reach the intended recipient) or the subsequent enjoyment of the prize;

    4. any act or default of any third party supplier.

  22. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer, and hardware or software failure of any kind, which may affect the sending, receipt or processing of your entry.

  23. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and in so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter (including its associated companies, officers, employees and agents) exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising to entrants or otherwise as a result of the Competition; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential loss, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:

    1. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);

    2. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;

    3. any claim or entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;

    4. any tax liability incurred by the entrant; or

    5. use of the reward. The Promoter (including its associated companies, officers, employees and agents) shall not be liable for any postponement, cancellation, delay, changes to the Competition or failure to fulfil it’s obligations where such failure is caused by any event(s) outside the reasonable control of the Promoter (including without limitation the act or default of any third party supplier).

  24. This Competition, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including the prize), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Competition (including the prize).
